The ‘Bless’ App
Hey there friend!
So, you're ready to dive into The BLESS App? That's fantastic! This app is a wonderful way to connect with your community and share some love. Plus, it's completely free—no sneaky charges or surprise fees. And guess what? It'll be a perfect companion as we journey through the Lenten devotional "Be the Neighbor - Lent on Purpose" together.
What Does It Mean to Be a Light?
When you join The BLESS App, you become part of a growing community of Christ-followers who are intentionally sharing God’s love in their neighborhoods. And don’t worry—you don’t have to stand on a street corner with a megaphone. It’s all about small, meaningful actions that make a big impact.
The app is built around five simple BLESS practices:
☕ Begin with Prayer – Ask God to open your heart (and your neighbors’ hearts) to opportunities for connection.
👂 Listen – Be present and really hear what’s going on in the lives of those around you.
🍽️ Eat – Yes, eating counts as ministry! Share a meal, a coffee, or a snack and build relationships.
🤲 Serve – Look for ways to meet needs, big or small.
💬 Share Your Story – When the time is right, tell others about Jesus and what He’s done in your life.
How Does the App Help?
The BLESS App gives you everything you need to love your neighbors well:
✅ Know Your Neighbors by Name – The app helps you identify the people around you so you can pray for them personally.
✅ Track Your Interactions – Your dashboard keeps a record of your prayers, conversations, and acts of service so you can see your spiritual journey unfold.
✅ Get Daily Reminders – Want a little nudge? You can opt-in to receive emails or app notifications with simple ways to bless five neighbors every day.
It’s simple, practical, and powerful—a tool to help you live out your faith right where God has placed you. So go ahead, sign up, and start blessing your neighborhood today!
Now, I know technology can be… well, let’s just say “frustrating” (looking at you, remote control with 52 buttons). But don’t worry—I’m walking you through it, step by step. Let’s get you set up!
